Pastor Steve McNeilly

Steve McNeilly has been a Christian pastor for 35 some 40 years, serving in Essendon, Broadmeadows, Churchill, Warrnambool and Moe. He was pastor of the Churchill Crusade Centre, as it was then known, from 1991 to early in 2002, when he moved with his wife Sandie to Warrnambool. Since returning to Gippsland in 2013, they have attended the Moe CRC assembly, officially known as the Moe New Life Christian Centre. From 2014 to 2023, he was the owner manager of Variety Bookroom in Moe. He has officially been senior pastor at Churchill Christian Fellowship since July 2023.

Steve published his book “Our Culture in Christ” in 2008. It was, and still is, a unique cultural study of Christianity. In 2018 he published a novel, “Contesting Faith” in which a young man with an incurable cancer starts an online competition to see which religion or philosophy has the best advice on how to prepare for death.
